Dear prospective member:
The Philadelphia Chapter welcomes new members to the American Sewing Guild (ASG). The initial annual Membership in ASG is $40.00. The Philadelphia Chapter has several Neighborhood Groups (NG). Each group meets monthly.
These meetings allow members:
- The opportunity to guide, instruct or encourage each other on sewing projects.
- To plan classes for the group on small projects or demonstrate new techniques.
- A chance to "sew and tell" their finished or unfinished work
- Present announcements of upcoming events, trends, new notions, etc.
- To stay connected with other people who love the art of sewing and crafting.
Joining ASG will put you in touch with other sewing enthusiasts in your area, get discounts from national and local retailers, receive "Notions" the American Sewing Guild National Publication and our Philadelphia Chapter newsletter "The Needleworks ".
Please review the Neighborhood Group list to find a group near you. When you join ASG you become a member of the Philadelphia Chapter and a member of your local Neighborhood Group (NG) as well as all other NGs in the Philadelphia Chapter, other Chapters in the state and in the entire country. You can go to ASG NG meetings in any other city and feel at home.
